When I asked if anyone was stockpiling nobody commented. It was a serious point and it would seem it was justifiable according to the now published document. Paper products, frozen fruit and veg, tinned food are but a few suggestions. I don't believe this is scaremongering I do believe it is common sense. If, and it is a big if it would seem, all goes smoothly then all the goods that have been stockpiled won't go to waste. Worth considering? I think so!
No food (we don't really have the room), but I have managed to stockpile quite a few drugs. I have seen a list of drugs that are likely to be affected, and while the main immunosuppressant drugs seem to be ok, I still have four that are on the list. One I get in 4 month chunks from the hospital, and I've just had one of those, so I'm ok for that until maybe Feb.
Of the others I get more than I need - at the moment (though that may change) - so I have a couple of months' worth of those as well.

Feeling fortunate that drugs are not an issue with us but feel concerned that there are many who must be feeling worried. I have put a couple of boxes of parcetamol in the cupboard - aches and pains for the use of! Is that an age thing I wonder?!

There are drugs for cancer and I think diabetes that can't be stockpiled. That would be a real worry - I mean, it is, for a lot of people.
This Yellowhammer thing has been classed as reasonable worst case; that's changed from a couple of weeks ago when it was a base case - not worst, not best. There is another report called Blacl Swan which is the real worst case, ,and that hasn't been released.

Insulin is imported and I read that stocks will be affected so I have stocked up. If it does come to Bo Deal the Yellowhammer papers seem to indicate that any delays would be over in 3 to 6 months so my stockpile will be adequate I see the usual suspects are complaining about the Yellowhammer preparations, imagine how they would complain if the government had not made preparations

I am on expensive medication, as is Mrs A. We are being told that because of Brexshit we will lose all our support from the French government and guess what? We didn't even get to vote! We are basically being handed a death certificate.

We are basically being handed a death certificate. I saw Spanish expats who were relieved to discover that Spain has passed a law so that their agreement with the NHS will continue, apparently an arrangement that has existed since before we joined the EU. Our government has yet to ratify the agreement in reverse for EU expats living in the UK

As they say two cheeks of the same backside!
It beggars belief that this man is actually PM, he has more baggage than a cruise ship. More coming out of The Times today I believe - haven't read it OH told me over lunch! Nothing surprises me any more - the UK is becoming more of a laughing stock every day it would seem.

Boris Johnson failed to declare a series of potential conflicts of interest over a close friendship with an American model turned technology entrepreneur during his time as London mayor.
An investigation by The Sunday Times can reveal that the woman, Jennifer Arcuri, was given a total of £126,000 in public money and privileged access to three official overseas trade missions led by Johnson.
Sources have confirmed that Johnson, now 55 and prime minister, was a regular visitor to Arcuri’s top-floor flat in Shoreditch, east London.

They are all the same, Blair with his ties to the Murdoch empire, I expect revelations about Cameron will emerge, Honest Theresa with her love of cricket gives a knighthood to a woman beater, further back there was Wilson and Mr Gannex I think it's the power that enables them to do pretty well what they like

You're right Jimmy. As the saying goes 'power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely'.
