Same as me Ron. I ached all over on Simvastatin and stopped that but have been absolutely fine on Atorvastatin (years now - cholesterol 👍) To Hildie, I'd go back to the doc and ask for a different preparation.

I posted my vote this morning. I did not vote for a major party. Of course, I'm not allowed to say who I did vote for......... Today I met my new dog and I am head over heels in love with him. He is so beautiful and tomorrow morning he is coming to live with me. Honestly, he is absolutely beautiful. He is very small, even for a JRT. I will be taking photos tomorrow and sending them to everyone. I don't think I will sleep tonight. I can pick him up easily, so that is a bonus. I think we will get along very well once he settles. I have placed a footstool near the sofa, in case he needs a step up onto it. One problem is, he's not keen on other dogs. We don't know his history of course. Once he knows he's safe and loved, I think he may relax a bit about other dogs. I will try to slowly socialise him.

Hi all, I go into my local ASDA store once a week and buy all their dated produce after receiving same day or one or two days , I have the rest delivered.I have searched for a good loaf that suits me and Mrs cut-out, after trying most of these branded breads and failing somehow I discovered asda's extra special farmhouse wholemeal and rye, this bread is far better than anyone else's , it's great at going in and coming out. 🧐

Talking about bread, I have tried all the supermarket brands, Asda, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Lidl, Aldi etc. But the very best is from M&S. Their medium sliced lasts well over a week and is still as fresh as the day it was bought. Tastes like bread should taste too.

I like Hovis Granary thick sliced and after Morrisons stopped stocking it I transferred my main shop to Tesco. The Lidl doesn't have any bread I like, but if I fancy some fresh baguette I get it from the Co-op. I believe that Iceland also has the exact Hovis Granary I want, but I don't want anything else from there. I had a toe to toe discussion on stocking lines with a Tescos manager yesterday and it may do some good. Food marketing seems directed at people who can't cook so basics are messed around with. I did get some salt and sugar free ketchup for my dragon yesterday.

My favourite bread is Village - Welsh batch. It is tasty. I have Leo sleeping in his new bed beside me as I type. He looks peaceful, but I think he is alert and no wonder. His first day in a new home with a new person. He is adorable and so tiny. I can pick him up with one hand.

Althea, Leo looks gorgeous - lovely markings, eh? Is his coat silky or rough?

I appreciate all your bread tips people. I will taste test them. I agree with Rwth though - supermarkets tailor their products to people who can't cook...the aisles of ready prepared stuff squeezes everything else out! There is always an aisle in any Tesco, Asda - sometimes two - that I don't even go down!
Mind you, maybe for folks on their own or less able, I spose they are a boon...
