Hild, dreams are a way of getting your attention. They tend to be over dramatic for that reason. It's probably the general election on your mind. If you have a shredder, using it on election communications after glancing through them fleetingly or just putting them in the recycling or the compost heap will take their weight off your mind. If you have put your poll card and ID handy for the big day and decided which candidate seems the best may soften the force of your dreams. I haven't had a leaflet yet. I have had several Facebook posts from the Tories, asking me for donations - as if. I'm not throwing my phone away. I think it must be a combination of things, maybe the heat. Thank you form mentioning the election. I'm chilled but my son is doing my head in about it.

I've been on Atorvastatin for years and no side effects, it has brought my cholesterol down by a lot. I started on a small dose then my doctor doubled it after three months and told me to eat normally within reason. I've kept the weight off and my cholesterol is fine. Maybe I was evil in a past life Ron!!! Anyway hopefully they stop as the GP suggested.

When I got up this morning it was raining, but now it's lovely and sunny. Question: I am now on Statins and am getting the most horrible disturbing dreams. This is not normal for me. They're gruesome. My GP says they will wear off once I've been on the tablets for a while longer. Do any of you get this, does it wear off and is there a brand that is better than others. Seriously I've never carried out multiple amputations on passers by in Durham Market place with a chain saw and then shredded the bones with a woodchipper, and I don't watch horror films or read that kind of book. These dreams are dreadful and I remember them all day. They're waking me up almost every night. I'm on simvastatin and my wife is on atorvastin, I take mine at night and mrs-cut out takes her weaker one in the morning. P.S.Don't get caught carrying that machete.👹 Rikki I am crying laughing!!!

It's been so hot today, I decided to do more washing, towels and the bedding all washed and dried ever so quickly.

You have to be grown up about things, you can plan the perfect murder in your mind, ha ha ha!!!!]

Hild, my doctors tried me on Statins, but they don't suit everyone (especially me.) If you start to feel that your muscles are tired, particularly your thigh muscles, stop taking them straight away and tell your doctor. There are different ones and another type may suit you. I have had all sorts of drugs to try to keep my cholesterol down, including Bempedoic acid - terrible stuff. You have to have blood tests before you start it, then every three months. After three months I got a phone call to say, don't take any more of it. I suffer with Lichen Planus as a direct result of being put on Statins. I am getting a little dog. Not the one I went for originally, who was already spoken for. It's funny how it has worked out, because the dog I am getting is a tan and white JRT. I had one years ago and Leo, the new one looks very like him. He is an oldie but still very lively. I have passed the checks and will meet him on Friday. I am very excited. Both me and the Mister were put on statins and after trying many different ones we both had to stop because of severe muscle pain. Congratulations on the new doggie.

I was interviewed on BBC Wales this morning in the city centre. It was asking people what they thought the result would be in next weeks election.

Well what did you say? I think a lot of people are saying they're undecided because they don't want to say. You don't have to say, obviously.
A friend was interviewed by C4 during the Brexit debate, she felt the journalist was trying to lead her down a path because of where they were (geographically) and also in one of the poorer parts of town. She told him she thought that the EU had done some wonderful things for the city and then said I bet you don't show this. Sure enough they didn't, they found two old blokes in a grotty pub bemoaning the lack of shipyards.

The interviewer asked what I thought was going to be the result. I said it looks like a landslide towards Labour, but I wouldn't be surprised If the Reform party did quite well too.

I don't quite see Labour getting a landslide. I suspect most people will be sick of the pair of them and will vote for others but not Reform. Most people realise they are neo-nazi.

I usually don't discuss religion and politics. I think the general feeling is for change, there doesn't appear to be much to choose from though.

I don't think it will be a massive landslide either Ron.
We could be wrong. Apparently there are lots of problems with postal votes because so many people are heading away before the school hols start or in Scotland and NI, the hols have already started and tons of people have applied and they've been inundated.
