Oh yes Norty, and I don't dole out these comments lightly you know 😄😄 Agreed on Carl (why do we go for these taciturn, grumpy fellas? ) but yes, very nice! Also agree on Dunbar -what a wit - his one liners are priceless...typically Gaelic! My other favourite type of charm 😄 That shifty criminal lawyer, Lakewell 😒 - who knows what pies he has fingers in? I am also wondering the same of Hilton...I don't trust him... Balaclava man? I wonder if there's more than one? They look different to me...but who was the BM who attacked Steve (who doesn't look good - will he recover? 😨) Well, all these questions will be answered tomorrow...possibly! It is LOD after all!

I have a similar problem with films about Nuns: the first time I saw Black Narcissus I had no idea who was who all the way through - they all looked the same (except the one who can't make coffee but thinks she can). I know now, but it's still a problem for someone who is supposed to be a Nunsploitation fan.

Ha! Vindicated at last!
It's true though - is she the one who's having a relationship with the Mother Superior? Or is she the one knocking off the gardener? And which one's the Novice again? I'm sometimes reduced to checking the decoration in their cells.

I don't watch things with Nuns, I find them scary. I don't cope too well with lighthearted Nuns on the Run type thing either. A childhood hang-up I think.

I quite liked Call the midwife. My favourite though is Death in Paradise and I still watch all the repeats.

Great finale to Line of Duty, even though it felt a bit rushed to me. There were too many ends of tie up. Hilton dead..suicide????Yeah,right.. So who is H then? Hastings maybe... (wash your mouth out!) And Steve lives to fight another day. I really thought he was a gonner... I bought the box set this week to watch again as there are so many links which are carried in to the next series. Jed Mercurio has started on number 5 😄

Who would've though there was more than one Balaclava man! Knew the slimy lawyer was up to his neck....James the policeman was a surprise though.
Looking forward to swooning over Adrian Dunbar in series 5 ❤️❤️

Who would've though there was more than one Balaclava man! That's a bit of a cheat, frankly.

Still no Line of Duty fans?? What's the matter with you all? I'm a fan, love it! We're also enjoying Department Q on BBC4. Did you watch the final Department Q? Talk about sad...I even felt upset for the abuser! Awful, just awful. I would've thought there was a lot of mileage in Carl and Assad...hope we haven't seen the last of them.

Me neither, they are a good pairing. I hope there are more. Yes we did watch it, very uncomfortable viewing, but what a story line. Have ever read any Jo Nesbo books. If so, I imagine Harry to be like Carl. If not, you might enjoy them. They are quite graphic though, but fab storylines with a central theme of Harry running through them.

That's a bit of a cheat, frankly. Yes I guess so. But you see my problem with Nun films? One Nun could pretend to be another Nun and who'd know? I've never seen it tried as a plot device, and I think that's down to the essential good nature of the people who make Nun films.
