Martin Shaw was doing his siting behind the table acting again, reading lines parrot fashion. It didn't go unnoticed in our house.

We tend to record this sort of thing and then watch the episodes together. We watched 1 & 2 last night..... Criticisms: I doubt they'd have read past the hero's name,if it hadn't been by Rowling. Why did the hero have to look so deadbeat? ( Often wondered how anyone manages to have a 5 day stubble, permanently) It could have been greatly condensed.

You buy a five day stubble razor - available in many shops!! Why? The "stubble look" was the fashion for some time, George Michael sported it. You can even buy an electric shaver to give it. This was before they progressed to the full beard Goodness knows why, one day late in shaving and my cheeks itch like hell Must be about time for the clean shaven look to reappear

I haven't shaved since about the middle of July, partly out of laziness (in a strange house, and having to go back to get a bic out of my case), and partly to see if I could do it, having managed no more than a goat scrub last time I tried, nearly 40 years back.
Well, I can; and I'm keeping it, for now anyway. (It's not big enough for people to shout "Beaver" after me in the street, as Bingo Little said they did the time he had to buy a falsie and retreat to Valley Fields).
Have I mentioned this before?

I have had a beard since I was 21. My ,then girlfriend was a few years older than me and I had a boyish face. She didn't last but the beard did!
