Yes. The mumbling is getting to be a regular BBC drama complaint. We have subtitles on for them but for nothing else. Its just impossible otherwise. Outside scenes are the worst.

I am going to watch that new Spanish two-parter on BBC4 tonight. I like subtitled Euro drama and can't wait for the next series of Spiral/Engrenages.
I believe it's just gonna start in France so no spoilers please!!!!

We were properly had with the Loch - so many threads in it that led nowhere in the end... the doctor and his love child, the murderer and his black psycho buddy, wolves...all padding. Petrie goes into his secret room at the end, and....?
"Transfer to Glasgow..." Yeah, we need a doe-eyed mum copper racing round the streets ..in a crap car, shouting at nothing.
The last scene was quite exciting though. I'm relieved its over 😁

Nobody watching the Spanish subtitled thriller on bbc4? Grade A reptile middle aged top lawyer has affairs with his young students, possibly even his NIECE...she is now missing and he is suspected of her murder. However, he (conveniently) is suffering with amnesia...or is he? All far fetched - but oddly fascinating.

I half expected the murderer to pop up in the loch having been wounded but not killed, leaving the door open for a sequel Overall I thought it was quite good, didn't understand why the young man was unconscious in his bed during the early episodes, clever twist

The wife is a cold fish and hubby will a bit creepy I thought. I've decided it's the niece's brother, we shall await to find out.

I had to laugh in episode one when she picked him up from the hospital... He said "I don't like you" She replied "The feeling's mutual" 😁😁😁😁

I have watched episode one, series one of Top of the Lake. NZ beautiful, people...weird!
I Know Who You Are is keeping my interest. Elias' amnesia seems a bit selective at times, eh? However, the scene where he was giving it large to his students, then contrasted with others where he reverts to his shrunken, haunted self, impressed me for his acting. Very good. We did learn that he is a brilliant liar, of course 😄 The star of the thing is little Julieta...she's fantastic.

Against the Law. Interesting drama based on a true story about how gay men were vilified and persecuted by the police in the 50s leading to the Wolfenden report and law change some years later. The drama was made more interesting by including cameos from gay people who were affected at the time
