According to Brexit Boris, he is to be ignored,as BO is 'part Kenyan'.
What a wise reasoning ambassador for the sceptics!

A persons genetics have sod all to do with what they might say. That said I was not happy to see the US president say what he said, especially considering that the US is one of the most protectionist countries in the world. Witness the problems British car makers had trying to sell in the US. What I must have missed is, why do we the UK need a trade deal with anyone? I would have thought that if a company wants to trade, and has a buyer for their goods and services, then they trade.

Brits abroad lose their vote after 15 years. The High Court may give that vote back for the EU Referendum

One wonders why they should? Unless they are British tax payers why should they be able to vote? .
I know you have lived in France for many years Arena. Are you as a French resident allowed to vote in any French elections, local or national? After all no doubt you pay French taxes.

I can vote in local (French) elections but not in national ones. May I remind you that we ex-pats are very British, if not we would be enjoying the benefits of changing nationality!

I was not casting nasturtiums Arena, I was genuinely interested. In my view if anyone pays British taxes they should be allowed to vote.

I haven't been able to vote for years. ALSO: I cannot give blood. No country will accept blood from those who lived in the UK during the Thatcher era.

My OH is a Belgian national who lives permanently in the UK now, similarly is allowed to vote in local elections but not national ones for some strange reason

CDJD or mad cow is the reason for that I think. In in this country you cannot give blood if you've had a transfusion for the same reason. Great shame as I owe 9 pints and would've liked the opertunity to give some of it back.
