Without looking it all up one that springs to mind is the Europe wide limit on the motor power of both a vacuum cleaner and a toaster. All that will do is to ensure people have to hoover the carpet longer and put the toast in for a second run.

Not even Farage circulates that myth anymore I am NO fan of Farage, but I think you will find it is true. Yes, we can produce machines with say a 1400w motor, and sell them here, but we cant sell them to the rest of Europe.

We didn't find that, had to buy a new vac which is one of this new breed with lower power yet somehow it is more powerful to use than our old one, sucks up everything very quickly

George Osborne was talking in Bristol about the implications for Britain if we vote out yesterday. He stated that it had been predicted the economy would shrink by 6.2%. He was asked why we should believe him as previous predictions had proved about as reliable as sticking a wet finger in the air to predict the weather.
I have yet to see any comments by the 'out' brigade telling us that the economy will grow by x %, but they will I am sure be forthcoming.
Now why should I believe any one of them? Surely at best it is all guesswork. And some of the dire predictions on British agriculture is I think not even an educated guess.

I played my first game of Petenque this season last night. I suppose if we do decide to leave we won't be allowed to play any more without paying the French a Royalty!

Britex is like turkeys voting for Xmas! It might well be Arena, but at the moment all the information I have read seems to be based on scare tactics from both sides. I simply don't know how I will vote, but what I don't want to do is to base my decision on false information. If you, or anyone else can come up with concrete arguments for one way or another I would be more than interested. I think the bullshit of 'Britain will be safer in Europe' is absurd. The suggestion being that we, Britain will somehow be less safe if we leave. Why? Are invading armies about to land in Norfolk, or will our intelligence services stop sharing information with the parts of the world, including Europe we regard as allies? I don't think so.

Is the bird in the hand worth more than two in the bush?
What guarantees do eurosceptics give you?
Reminds me of the old joke.....
A man falls over a cliff and is hanging on by a tuft of grass.....
Man: HELP!Is there anyone there?
God: I am here, trust me. Let go of the grass and I will float you back onto the cliff.
Man: Is there anyone else there!

No-one is giving any guarantees, nor could they. We hear that Britain gives 350M a week to Europe, then gets about half back, but no-one gives actual figures. If we do give with the right hand and receive with the left that is bureaucratic insanity. What does it actually cost to do that, as opposed to simply just giving the half in the first place? And what strings are attached to the half we do get back? I genuinely don't know and can't find out.
I trade with Europe as well as the rest of the world. There are very few hoops to jump through if I send stuff to Singapore or Hong Kong, or buy stuff in the US or Brazil. The 'cost' as opposed to trading in Europe is negligible. If we left would my German or Italian suppliers start to get difficult? I very much doubt it when China and other places are snapping at my heels to buy from them.
In my view Germany and Italy need the trade just as much as we need to trade with them, so the talk of some tariff war is mischievous propaganda. And if that appears to make me a Brexit supporter, don't be fooled, I really have yet to form an opinion.
