I agree with Jon...if ever there was a time to pull together, accept the result, be positive about it with resolve and see its opportunities.... One of them being a refusal to be pushed around by the likes of Juncker! Best comment of the day came from (Lord) Digby Jones who said "After the result I cannot wait for the end of the GRS" The commentator, thinking this must be some business/commercial body said "What's that?" Jones replied "The Great Remain Sulk"

Now that migrants reaching Calais are wanting to leave the EU, why should France try to stop them?

Just heard a listener to LBC say she thought Article 50 would never be triggered and the status quo would simply continue and continue thus Leave would run out of steam....

"Brexit: No EU compromise on freedom of movement"
www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36659900
So all the waffle about us being able to trade in the single EU market yet control the immigration from there turns out to be just that - waffle Some unkind people might say it was just more lies

If trial evidence is found to be false, surely it warrants a retrial. Save

Well, if we wait a couple of years and let the dust settle, other disgruntled EU member states might move the goalposts for us. Brussels won't want any more exiters!
To be honest, I don't know if I could face a 'retrial'
In fact, I will be pleased when things simmer down, the moaning stops and the market/the pound/companies and banks gain a bit more confidence and folk might start saying "Oh, the world's not ending then?" At the moment, media frenzy is making things appear worse (imho)

Yup - we're all going to hell in a handcart. And the cap in hand request from Italy for a 40 billion Euro loan goes unreported? Because the Euro is a stable currency and all is wonderful in the rosy Euro-land? Our markets are picking up. Doom and gloom may be reported, but even though we are in for a rocky road, the storm-force winds are not yet hurricanes.

Markets recovering, pound stabilising and a great interview on LBC with (Lord) Digby Jones ....so positive about the opportunities there if only we seize them. (play video clip if you can) Presenter Nick Ferrari said he would call him Lord Digby Jones to which he replied, no Digby is fine..most people call me fat git!! www.lbc.co.uk/the-brexit-point-even-remainers-are-agreeing-with-133078

"How 'Brexit' Was Sold to the Masses
The scapegoat handed to them by the Eurosceptics is the immigrant. One only has to look at how nationalist fervour and economic strife following the Great Depression played out in 1930s Germany to see how close we are sailing to the wind."
We are back to the days of racial abuse.
