Well Gus,there's plenty of garlic in it, if that's what you mean. And, of course, clams...which I guess might not be on many people's shopping list! My system can cope with garlic but not many spices Question, is garlic a spice?

Not in my book. But you know, when people say "I don't like anything spicy" what they actually mean is "I only eat very plain things" You'd have to take a look at the ingredients to see if there are any Gus no-no's! 😉

My sister-in-law mad a delicious but very hot curry, I tucked in like a pig We then went to visit a niece who was in the process of major building operations to their house. The new staircase wasn't yet in, and the only access to the bathroom which was upstairs was via a ladder You can guess the rest..............

Nigel Slater, mostly because he's a great soft beggar.

Nigel Slater, mostly because he's a great soft beggar. Hmmm...he's always on his own though and looks glum...that makes feel down. The antidote to Nigel is the Two Hairy Bikers! I usually cook something they suggest because their dishes are never too 'cheffy'... I accept you might want to hit 'em - but I really like Si and Dave. They are grate (!) entertainment 😄

Who's your favourite tv cook? I like Delia. Anthony Worral Thompson, sadly out of favour at the moment I like the way he can knock up a meal out of anything, and only using the sort of stuff we already have in our cupboards I remember him on Ready Steady Cook one time when the contestant just bought a lump of broccoli. From that he made a soup (from the stalk), a vegie tart, and a pudding (can't remember what went into that) It was amazing

Jamie O for me. No frills I can't stick that conceit that he has (or had) of looking at and addressing his remarks to someone at the side of the camera, and ignoring the viewer. It was a popular technique a few years ago and I got so I couldn't watch anyone who used it. It might have eased off a bit now, though.

I don't know about that, I just like him. Anyway: A film made by the bloke who got Werner Herzog to eat his shoe: And Herzog cooking his shoe:
