Yesterday they gathered in groups on the streets of England , to protect our statues ( most of those are dedicated to people they've never heard of). In London they stood proudly behind their flag , a large flag in blue, with the Union flag in one corner and opposite their slogan. In a big circle it reads ' Take our country back - BRITIAN first'.

Saddening to see veterans flags including the paras and some with their legion flags.
Here a Tory councillor set up a petition to save our statues. This was nothing short of rabble rousing as none of the statues were threatened and nobody has even complained about them. Neither was there a proposed BLM March or protest.
So what happens, yesterday about 40 blokes many with dogs stand around a couple of statues for a photo call claiming to be protecting our statues.
We don't have many in the city, in fact so few that I can list them. They are a large walrus, a young sailor, a ships wheel abstract, a tree, two at the stadium - football related, a miners lamp, a commemoration of a disaster resulting in fire regs changing and General Havelock.
Now he's the only one I thought might be contentious and one of the contentions would be that he left the city aged about 5 and never came back. He contributed zilch but was involved in the Indian / Afghan campaigns at around the time the park was created.
I can only conclude that the high society of the town couldn't think of anyone else associated with the city to agree on. Certainly not representative of the city where at that time there was a large chartist movement.
But these men weren't standing there, possibly because that means climbing a hill and well you can't get your car parked nearby.
The council confirmed that nobody has ever complained about any of the statues.
Fortunately the weather was naff and cold and no rabble arrived to be roused.
Shameful and intimidating behaviour for all who had to walk past and all for a pointless petition.

I think that might be photoshopped, Arena; the bloke in the bra was.
There was no need; they were bad enough without.

Oh the irony

Did someone suggest that the Parachute Reg was there... If so, my guess is that someone stole their Banner (was it the bloke with Wet drawers and the Bra?)
I once worked in Colchester, and the only economic Parking place was Number two Para Sergeant's Wives Club... and they frightened Hell out of me, I certainly wouldn't want to upset blokes themselves ...

Strangely the press coverage does not say that six police officers were injured during these 'protests' by people stating they were only there to protect the monuments.
Nor does it tell you that during the BLM protest the day before 27 police officers were injured.
As for the image of the idiot pissing against the memorial, he got 14 days. Not sure whether any of the outraged have ever been near a football ground after a match and seen what some of the crowd do against peoples doors, in their gardens on plant pots.
And I am not sure what happened to the person or persons who vandalised Lee Rigby's memorial.

The press seem to be hell-bent in taking things to a greater level. As that heroic Patrick Hutcheson , the black guy who rescued an EDL supporter, who was getting his lights kicked out, 'It's not black against white , it's all of us against racists'

I have no idea what it is like to be racially abused but I suspect that some of the black protesters are making a meal of it. I haven't a racist bone in my body, one dear friend is a Ugandan Asian and out having a meal with her she has been asked "where are you from". I suppose some would call that racism but to us it was just curiosity Most of the white protesters are just thugs, EDL and such, out for a "good time". Interestingly the mob who tore down the Bristol were all white - just anarchists. Theresa May has a lot to answer for , it was she who slashed the police force by thousands

You know the old saying,"The Devil finds work for idle hands." Well, I think many who joined the protests were just people bored by staying in for weeks.
