I am beginning to think that when all the shouting is over,we will be neither in nor out. There needs to be some action by MPs, to get together for the good of the country and sort it out properly, it's long overdue.

I heard this morning that Dominic Raab is going to refuse to pay the divorce bill unless they get the deal that they want! The mess just goes on and on. We are back in the UK in December having bought a house. In many ways I am more than relieved as expats have no idea of their status after Brexit. Healthcare, pensions etc. In fact all the things that are important to keep body and soul together. I am, of course, hoping that independence for Scotland will come sooner rather than later and the way it is looking at the moment I am quietly confident.

I already expect it to be bad - so it's going to be worse even than that? Good grief.

What's it going to be, second referendum or stay in EU? They are the only options left.

Or a general election or just walk out Something needs to happen, we have a paralysed impotent government with a PM desperate to remain in power I think Jim Royle would put it succinctly. "Democracy my a**e"

At least May has dropped the iniquitous registration fee for EU citizens wishing to remain here I have no doubt that this is nothing to do with her feeling helpful and generous, almost certainly due to legal advice that the Courts would tear her to ribbons. All EU citizens enjoyed the perfectly legal freedom of movement and to suddenly start charging them was not on

Whenn the Scottish Government said they would pay all registration fees for public sector workers in Scotland they were told in no uncertain terms that they couldn't! It beggars belief that Westminster thought this was ever considered to be a good idea.

This government seems to think that they have some divine right to rule and do as they like, sod democracy I think they are going to get a big shock come an election which will be the end of the Tory party as we know it. I think that Corbyn could win by default, I am no fan of his, even less of his Marxist shadow chancellor but they are better than the Tories. Rees Smug is even talking about shutting Parliament to stop legislation being passed Bring back New Labour

I would love to agree with you Jimmy but I don't believe New Labour was anything other than Tories under another name. Tony Blair lied and lied again so I have no confidence in him or his remaining toadies!

Otherwise we have the extreme right in the shape of the present Tories or the extreme left in the shape of Atlee or Wilson The alternative on offer to the present Tories is even more extreme socialism, possibly Marxist

Marxism is just an economic theory that stresses the importance of labour (more or less).
Then again, the Labour Party have always been much more left wing in opposition than they ever are in Government.
