It was gorgeous here when I went for a stroll this afternoon: the sun was so warm that I had to remove a layer of clothing, and the little trees in the big car park at the local precinct looked absolutely stunning.

Morning all: Mild start to the day but rain and winds are forecast for the next few days. Got a few calls to make around town today.

Hi all, it looks like I'll get wet again this morning as I am going to get the bus to my local hospital (QE) it stops right outside their entrance, I can't use my car as I am having an operation to remove a nasty bit of melanoma , minimum one day driving ban and no bending down for a fortnight. Great.

What started off as a very nice morning yesterday ended up with lashing of rain in the late evening. It is still a bit dank this morning. Oh well, off to aqua this morning so I will get wet anyway.

Good luck Riki, my wife has had a few removed. Refuses to sit out in the sun now and don't blame her either.

Rather damp here this morning, but the Stygian gloom of an hour ago has given way to bright blue skies and brilliant sunshine - for the time being at least.

A misty, moisty morning here, but it's not actually raining yet. I must pop out for a loaf before it starts to pour down. Good luck with the op, Riki.

We had 3 hours of loveliness but it's a bit bleurgh now.
I seem to be coming down with a cold. That wouldn't normally be much of a problem but we are supposed to be going round to Mrs Tickle's friend's house later for a games evening: I'm not sure she'll want me there, sneezing and sniffling and generally spoiling her birthday.

Morning all: Wet and windy morning but no sign of Hurricane Kirk thankfully. I bought a few bargains buys off the Amazon sale yesterday, the sale finishes today.

Good morning all, not much kip with that large dressing on the old barnet, I've just taken two paracetamol, the removal procedure was well explained to me when I first agreed to the operation commencing, I was told that there was two types of wound, the surgeon would cut in on the day, the eye or circular incisions where mentioned, the surgeon used the round option, as the skin on my head was very thin it was stitched around then pulled together like an old fashioned purse, I could feel all the skin being pulled around from around my scalp and asked if I was receiving a Donald Trump job. The team was all women, they were reassuringly great. I'm not laughing now, but at least I'm still here being watched like a hawk by commander cut-out.

I bet you're glad that part's over now Riki, they will keep a close eye on you now to see how it's healing. Well done on going through that. Onwards and upwards now.
