Confession time you pet owners, What sort of voice does your pet/s talk w3ith? My dog has quite a working class tongue but my Siamese cat talks very posh (naturally)

I always put the heating on for a short time when I shower. It's a "medical necessity". I have had two processors before this one and I agree, maris, there is a knack to them. This one is an absolute beauty. I have emailed the manufacturer and they are lovely. Their team is working on a way for me to uncouple the blades from the wide spindle it sits on. Last night I blitzed some roast beef in the blender jug. It was amazingly fast. I am glad I bought one with a powerful motor. I'm expecting to use it almost daily. It may just be that my hands are not strong enough to uncouple the blades. We will see. I am going to Mold market tomorrow with my friend and my eldest daughter is spending Sunday with me. I am going to do lamb shanks, with minted new potatoes and petit pois. With raspberry trifle to follow. It's a reason to cook, which I don't often do. I will blend my dinner, or maybe just the lamb. Althea, I am SO pleased you are well enough to gad about again, and even entertain. Excellent 😘

My dog has quite a working class tongue but my Siamese cat talks very posh (naturally) Most dogs have working class accents I think...a bit like that comedian years ago who used to get his 'real' terrier to complain about the irritating 'puppet' dog saying "Shut that ruddy dog up" An expression I use to this day (in the same voice) when I encounter a yappy critter 😒 On the other hand, a neighbour has two Salukis - they don't say anything at all, except perhaps the occasional "I want to be alone..." 😁

I've managed to dry a full line of washing, jumpers, jeans etc, all dried and just finished the ironing. It was sunny and warm with a breeze which helped, it's clouded over now though.

Salukis- the dogs of the Czars of Russia, are known for being quiet. They were originally pure white and any pup born with a mark on it's coat was killed to keep the line pure white. I think they are wonderful dogs. They do have a superior air about them. Well, today my friend and I had a wonderful day out in Mold. I came back loaded although I had only wanted some hairspray. We had afternoon tea at Truly Scrumptious and it was such a pleasure. I manged the eating part rather well, though it did take me some time. The weather was warm and sunny and just what we needed. I am exhausted now.

Our first border collie looked like a miniature wolf as a pup, but grew to look like a saluki as an adult, but much smaller. She was elegant and very superior. I convinced her that barking was best kept to a minimum, so she'd let you know someone had arrived but would soon settle down. Her voice was fairly hoarse but she had the same accent as everyone else in the house.

I have had a headache every day now for four years, in fact it's sore to the touch on my left side just above me ear, which begs the question, how can something so stupid ache?

Hi all, I dialed 111 because I thought I had a UTI, they put me on to my local Badger service, after a few questions they sent me to an area about 8 mile away . It was in a factory type unit with lots of free parking inside, I arrived about 20 mins before my time and waited about 40 mins, I saw a specialist nurse and after looking at a water sample that I did there it was confirmed that, that was the case, she gave me a prescription for some anti biotics and I shall take that to my local pharmacy, the first doctor that referred me there sad last week's episode at my A and E was probably linked to this too.

Riki, was this your local Community Treatment Team? They are available (for adults only)from 8am to 10pm. The idea of the service is to be a bridge between the GP and A&E and stop people from going to hospital. Typical problems they deal with are breathlessness, chest and urine infections and other worrying symptoms. A pal of mine rang them direct, suspecting her infirm husband had a urine infection. They visited, confirmed it AND came back later with the prescription! The service is not well publicised but I think it's a boon.

Hi maris, I was given three options, luckily the first option was the nearest, this Badger service was excellent it was all sorted in about 2 hours, I have just taken my first capsule and I am hoping it cures my problem, thanks.
