It's bright, but very cold here. Thanks for the support guys.I haven't made my mind up finally about permanent care, but now it seems most likely. OH is only going to get worse and looking after him is already beyond my capabilities. I think it would be easier to let the respite run on to permanent care rather than go through all the heartbreak of taking him away again. I can't sleep, but that will come back.I can't relax and I think it's because I feel like I'm in a dream at the moment. I know everything will settle down soon. Get the paints out XX

As a "Newbie" here, I am reluctant to Comment, but it does sound as though you are aware and capable of options, and Im sure you will have the right direction. Best Wishes.

We have had a large torch in the house(unused) for years and last week my daughter put new batteries in it. Wow,was that lucky! Last night my electric went off about 10pm. I looked out and could see other houses with lights on,so I realised the main fuse had tripped. Thanks to a working torch,I was able to turn the fuse back on. It's dull and cold here today.I am feeling less manic today and think I will be able to relax. I have started reading the new Hilary Mantel,The Mirror and The Light,so I hope to get stuck into that. I hope everyone is coping with lockdown. We have had many visitors to North Wales over the past month ,which has resulted in our area having the highest infection rate in the country at the moment. It is unbelievable how selfish some people can be.

It is unbelievable how selfish some people can be. Very noticeable here in Cornwall too, especially on the recent Bank Holidays when the queues outside supermarkets were enormous. The constant comment on the TV is about people who are locked in small flats without gardens who need to get out and become these "visitors" but the people interviewed ae anything but like that. Just selfish as you say

Never in my life, did I ever think,I would go up to a bank counter with a mask on and demand money. Strange times!

I thought the same as you Althea, I have a black face mask and it makes me look like a villain. I have to make it clear as I go into the ban I'm not there to rob them.

Been a scorcher today, 24c at 4pm, got all the bedding washed and dried. Hi each... Been tied up with utilitarian matters today, so getting nothing "real" today.. although I did have to do some washing - I got too near to a Bloke who "conked out" an the Bus Shelter, and I stronly suspect The Current Plague.. After I hoisted him into a Sitting possition He resurrected and Insisted that it was "nothing serious, it happened before???", so anbulance cancelled, and He got on the bus (although forgot his destination) - as the bus driver said: " if He doesn't want Ambulance Help, The Ambulance can do nothing" .
Oh I've had enough of today, Goodnight each.
