Morning all: This they say will be the warmest day of the year so far. Just got more washing to do before it changes again. Spain hopes to welcome tourists back "as soon as possible" when their lockdown starts to end beginning of June Their tourist trade must have been hammered by this virus, and businesses too. I don't think I would fancy flying just now, not that I'm fit enough anyway I saw that the beaches at Benidorm have been closed (don't know how they did that) but are now starting to open again. I would imagine that a lot of those small businesses there will go bust as they trade on a shoe string

I have friends there Jimmy, some haven't had a wage for months and even though a lot of bars have opened they can't afford to go there. Many bars will have gone bust no doubt. From tomorrow it is law there that you have to wear a mask in public.

It was showing 17c at 8am and getting warmer by the hour. I've washed and dried all the towels and I've washed trainers and slippers and they're outside in the sunshine drying now.

I would love to be in the garden this afternoon (24 degrees),but the hay fever is fierce. Still it's lovely inside too.

Morning all: Rain over night and after a very windy day it's settled a bit now. There was a tree down near us so there must have been some terrific gusts.

We had rain overnight the night before last, very welcome as we had added new plants in the garden I am delighted to report that I have finally got my weight back up to 10 stone which was my objective, another half stone and I will have gained 3 stone since I was poorly - nearly back to my usual weight, Done it by buying some Fortisip which the doctors refused to prescribed because it was too expensive. Instead the prescribed another supplement which was useless. Better than the hospital who insisted on prescribing one loaded with sugar which sent my blood sugar sky high !

A cool day,but at least the wind has gone. Last night my husband was taken into hospital because he has bruising on the leg in which he has a DVT. Hopefully, the care home will take him back later today. He will have to start his 14 days isolation all over again. Just to add problems to problems, the electric has been tripping off. My son is on his way now to have a look at what is going on. I think I have tracked the problem down to the kitchen light fitting. I hope it proves to be easy to put right.

Good luck with all of that, I'm sure your OH will ne ok - the hospital will sort him out You do realise that under these stupid rules your son is only allowed in the garden to inspect your 'lecky? But it's ok, he can claim to be looking around your house with a view to buying it !

Morning all: Have a nice bank holiday, though we are still locked in our cells. Looks like being quite a nice day too. Sorry to hear that Althea, you must be worried. But he is in the right place for care.
