I forgot to mention yesterday. I wanted super glue from B&M's. I was surprised at the till when the cashier
asked my age. I asked what for and she said it was law. She called her colleague who had to verify I was over 21.
Then she added that certain people were buying glue to sniff and even ink and other items they get high on.
I said I was flattered to be asked If I was over 21 and left in the giggles.

J had a routine blood test this morning at the surgery. Whist waiting I coughed which I always do when anxious - they have trouble finding a vein and I finish up with plasters everywhere The coughing produced some funny looks, and some people moved seats.I know how lepers must feel

Holidays are great but health comes first. It's not the end of the world if we are cancelled.
Asda this morning was chaos, I haven't seen as many people there before, not even at Xmas. People were stacking up their trolleys and the staff were chasing people taking some bales of toilet rolls off them. It had been announced over the tannoid that they were limited to one bale each, tinned tomatoes and baked beans people were stacking too. They are very selfish and greedy people.

Is it any wonder Hancock, the Health Sec appeared to confirm that the elderly will be confined to their homes from next week for FOUR months How are people supposed to get food and essentials during this quarantine period?

I have to wonder If the media are hyping all this up as sensationalism.

Morning all: I wish there was some good news but it's all doom and gloom at the moment. Everywhere seems to be in lockdown.
