Louise was fabulous last night...after that tango I think she is up there with a chance to win. She copes well with any dance that is given to her. I would have been torn (if I voted) between Daisy and Claudia last night ..the scales tipping in Daisy's favour,I think. Ed would have got a vote too as his dancing has really improved and he is no more the joke contestant. Those three would have got my vote last night. Loved Judge Rinder's dance ..he has improved a lot. Laura is great in hold as she showed last week but her lack of dancing skills is exposed when she is out of it. I would be surprised if she isn't in the dance off... I can't really think who will join her.... Greg perhaps. I am still loving Danny's dancing.  Claudia mentioned the B word last night so I think we can take it as read that Strictly will be going there. |

Ore was very good in parts, Ed's timing was excellent, Louise was fab and I haven't warmed to her yet. Giovanne went a bit overboard with his solo but surely that was to try to hide from Laura's not so good solo bits. Judge Rinder - love the enthusiasm and Greg somehow just seems a bit petulant now and I thought I would like him definitely better this week. Poor Ed's got another Latin number and to the awful Gang Gam Style - could be a comedy step to far, I hope not, because he is so much improved and that's the great thing about the show. |

Ed definitely is! And improving all the time 😁.
I know Bruno was spouting outrage that it was Laura and Ore in the dance-off (I thought it would be) but first and foremost the show is about entertainment... and Ed is entertaining!
Beats me why so many are still voting for Greg though.
Louise and Kevin's A.Tango was hot! And I loved Danny and Oti's jive.
Oti is the best female pro at the moment IMHO.

Yes a Panko Heel Twist Shuffle and Slide Reverse Turn is all well and good (I made that up by the way) and whereas I always like the fact that Len or others point out these technical merits, it is entertainment and I can overlook a wrongly executed Felix Twist Hop Over Dip if I am entertained. I know the judges have to tell us that someone did something wrong etc. and I don't mind at all that they do, but well I'm not that bothered if it looks good because it is not a professional competition and sometimes they score people highly for their enthusiasm which I am guessing doesn't happen professionally. |

My favourites last night...Danny,Claudia and Louise. Danny seemed to get upset after his dance...I wonder why? Who's going..haven't a clue... Daisy?Greg? I can't see Ed going as he seems to have a very solid base of fans....great entertainment again last night.  |

Two good couples in the dance off and I didn't want either to go...tbh, I thought Greg was a bit better in that. He was so choked... I got something in my eye as well...

I got something in my eye as well... I thought Greg was better too, I don't think the jive suited Claudia at all, she looked thoroughly uncomfortable and was out of time a lot. Still the judges raved about it, I mean they raved on and on about it, so hey ho.
Ed has survived because he is entertaining and the most improved dancer of the series. It is 50/50 skill and entertainment. Many a lead in a musical can't sing as well or dance as well as people in the chorus but they have that star quality thing. I can't see him lasting much longer but he is so much fun to watch.

The music for that jive was hopeless, way too fast...and Claudia on her little legs and too-high heels just couldn't get round the floor! In fact, it made me laugh a bit ...
Yes hild...the public are voting for (variously) the one they fancy/favourite sportsman/entertainment value/gay celeb/soapstar... with dancing ability much further down!
Trouble is, in the ballroom, the judges are only looking at the dancing!
Thus,Ed survives!

Ed is obviously still very popular hence he is still in the running for the Glitter Ball, when he really should have been gone by now.. I wonder what the bookie's odds are on him winning?? Might be worth a flutter.  Danny was FANTASTIC again on Saturday....  |
