I am a big fan 😄 This year's celebs seem to have a bit of personality so it'll be entertaining, I reckon. New pro's as well. Some I am glad to see the back of..Ola and James Jordan, also Evetta 😒 Giovanni is still there unfortunately! Leslie Joseph will really go for it..quality of dancing may be found wanting. Naga looks good. Never seen Judge Rinder before...he's a scream! Ed will be lucky to see week 2! He never lost the stone he said he would either...

I've got nothing against it; I would not leave the room if it's on (as I would one of Cowell's monstrosities), and I like the way it can take the piss out of itself (which Cowell never could), but I wouldn't go out of my way (IE - cross the hall) to see it. I dislike dancing, doing and watching (and hearing), so it's not really for me.

James Jordan was always shouting his head off when on the show, arguing with Craig and so on. He was sacked and has continued shouting on social media, his current outburst is that the winner is already decided I wish they would get rid of the gushing Tess Daly and the weird Claudia Winkleman

gus...I think it's about time Anton hung his dancing shoes up as far as Strictly goes. He nearly dropped Katie last year in one dance. As for who will be the first off I will reserve judgement until I've seen them all dance. marispiper...James Jordan is an awful show off who thinks he is God's gift to dancing. I was more than glad to see him leave the programme. I agree with what you have said about Tess and Claudia. Claudia does have her moments but sometimes she acts like a little girl. The opening programme is a bit cringeworthy with the way they fling themselves at their chosen partners. A quick ..'oh good' would do for me.

I love Strictly, I do get fed up with some bits though, like the noisy silliness during the results bit. I think they're trying to make it more family friendly with the silliness, but it then jars with the less than subtle innuendo comment made by Claudia. I do find her mostly funny. Poor Anton seems to be relegated to the oldie again after his surprise reprieve of last year. Each contestant and dancer seem thrilled with their partner......surely not! If I was a dancer I'd be upset to get Ed Balls. My good pal from Aberdeen watch it together but apart and natter through messenger about outfits and routines, it can be highly amusing. One of our quips this week was why was Louise Rednap wearing a glittery sac and whose wardrobe decision that was? I would love to be Strctlied and paired with Alizh or Brendan, sadly not being a celeb it won't happen and if I were I'd be off in the first week as I've zero rhythm along with two left feet!

I agree with what you have said about Tess and Claudia. Claudia does have her moments but sometimes she acts like a little girl. Sulky teenager at a grown-up party with her parents when she'd wanted to go on the river bank to drink cider with her mates, glaring contempt through her fringe at all the oldies..

The nonsense of the routines when the partners are announced is boring, predictable, and tiresome I think there is a new producer or production team, I had hoped they would come up with something better With Len going (Hooray) should he be replaced with a woman to balance the panel? No, not Arlene Phillips - we have gotten rid of her thank goodness once

Ooh.. I am looking forward to the first one this weekend. And, pleased to see there's a Strictly Pointless on to lead us in... I will enjoy that. I have to say, the trailer for the first episode is the most cheesey thing I have ever seen Ed Balls do...he's got stars in his eyes! I think he can 'dream on' there... Do you vote? I do, online.

For the first time,I am not looking forward to the new season of Strictly. It isn't because I don't know many of the celebrities and I'm not sure what has come over me. I think maybe the show has become too predictable . I am surprised at myself, because I love dancing and music.

I had hoped that we would see less of the annoying Naga Munchetty on Breakfast now that she had entered this years competition Wrong, she seems to be there more and more
