I don't like these over the top costumes, they distract from the dancing They make the show into a pantomime

If I was voting I would have voted for Ed last night What great entertainment he was ... I laughed all the way through his 'dance' and applauded at the end. I would also have voted for Claudia ..the colour of her costume was gorgeous...and Greg whose rumba I really enjoyed. I think Anastacia might be going tonight.

I wonder if there's going to be shocks tomorrow for the dance off. I wouldn't be surprised to see Louise in it. I love Greg but that rhumba (is that what it was?)was dreadful. Anastasia also a contender to leave. It's a shame...she's bound to be tentative in her dancing after so much surgery.Ed will definitely go through though...guaranteed. This might sound unfeeling (and it's not meant to) but if you start to do any job you have to be as sure,as you can, you will be able to fulfil the role you have signed on for. I feel the same about the celebrities,on Strictly, who moan about having a heavy workload, besides Strictly...don't take on too much and then moan....simples!

I'm inclined to agree Lana. I believe an Apprentice dropped out this week too...too hard!
Back to SCD... Gus mentioned costumes. I rarely take issue with those...the opposite in fact. Mostly, I love the dresses/outfits. Even though Greg wasn't brilliant this week, he's still looked a hunk 😄
What usually winds me up is the music! Some hip hop number turned into a Paso/chacha/tango etc... The singers murdering a good song... Or wrong speed...too fast usually 😣!

There have been complaints about the music right from the start, marispiper, but nothing changes. From what I've read and heard the producers do the choosing, in the main, with some input from the professional dancers.
When Bruno is not throwing his arms about in that silly theatrical way,and calms down, his comments are always spot on..

Joe Public finally got their wish and got rid of Anastasia. I don't know who Daisy is but they don't like her either I don't think that Brendan Cole helped, Anastasia was a lot better last week with Gorka. Watching Cole tonight I concluded that he is not such a good dancer, very jerky, spasmodic and arrogant . Aljas is a much more fluid dancer. Never mind considering Cole for Len's job, they should get rid Next bottom two, Daisy and Laura

^^^ I tuned in with my sister in law...she observed that in any Brendan partnership, it's always about hi, whereas the other pros showcase (as best they can in some instances!) their celeb partner. Agree, Alias is brilliant... I love watching him.

Agree, Alias is brilliant... I love watching him. I had a further thought of what he reminds me of Dad Dancing He should take lessons from AJ, he may only look as if he is fifteen years old bit he is so fluid in his dancing. Poetry in motion BTW Two weeks running non white contestants (the only two) voted off the X Factor, both IMO among the most talented on there I rest my case

Some really good dances this week and loads of improvement from Greg,Ed and Rinder. I voted for Daisy, Danny and Claudia but could've included Louise and even Ed! (only 3 votes online, see?) Laura was terrible and overmarked by the judges...and that Giovanni...he's an excellent dancer but WHAT a showoff!! Laura in DO and possibly Ore... What do you think?
