Well that was a turn-up... I would've said Rinder and Anastasia in the dance off.
Laura through then... I dunno, I can't warm to her somehow...she's very wooden on the floor. Giovanni is so full of himself - they are not my favourite couple.
I was sad to see Tameka go...not a brilliant dancer but loads of personality. The show is the poorer when a fun person goes out. Plus we get to see less of the gorgeous Gorka - corrr...who genuinely also seems a lovely fella.
I was taken aback at Will's comment..but even more by Len's riposte "turn up, keep up and shut up" !!!!!
Mind you, Len's probably forgotten more than Will Young knows about ballroom dancing!

I meant to say I thought Tameka was going to faint after her twirls with Gorka,at the end. She looked as if her head was spinning. She must have been fooling around. Agree, marispiper, about Len.

It's a lorra lorra years since Goodman danced and won anything, dancing has progressed and adapted over those years and he clearly has not kept up with it. He is living in the past, and should take his own advice and shut up. The sooner hew retires the better

He is living in the past, and should take his own advice and shut up. The sooner hew retires the better I think Tameka would have stayed for a few more weeks in a previous year. She's not a bad dancer at all but this year they are handing out 9s in week 3. That's hard to contend with and sadly just the way it goes. I don't think her tango was that good this week, lots of storming about the floor and I don't think her costume did her any favours at all, bad choice of music, wrong dance for her and lousy costume, but someone has to go and unfortunately it was her this week. In the programme I thought Laura was worse than Tameka but in the dance off Laura was better.

Bet he didn't like being told off by Goodman, he seems to have a problem with authority figures. Remember his arguments with Cowell on Pop Idol

Gosh, who would've predicted that? I never saw Pop Idol so I couldn't comment on his spats with Simon Cowell but he does fool you with his benign, lispy voice - and yet he's quite outspoken. I can't think his words with Len had anything to do with it but Will certainly wasn't as good a dancer as he thought he was. You have to bow to Len's knowledge of ballroom - which would be good if he weren't so bloomin' obnoxious. The song and dance he made about the bit of cream pie on his notebook...and the face!!!!!

Despite all the publicity Will Young refuses to comment further He is making himself look like a spoilt child who has been told off, or maybe there is a new album coming out Perhaps petulant is an apt word

Perhaps like another person said he has turned out to be not as good as he thought. Lots of people walk away from new skills and hobbies when they don't turn out to be naturally gifted. I think he was okay, not brill but I expected him to improve over the next weeks. I agree with Len, and I said it at home before their little spat, there was not enough salsa in that dance. Len complains every year and almost every time he is right, some of the professionals should know better but probably do it deliberately to cover the lack of technical skill at dancing of the celebs and hoping that we will still find it entertaining - works 50% of the time.
Someone has hinted that his votes from the viewers weren't high and it worried him. Do they get to find out how the viewing public have voted, I would have thought the BBC would keep that secret so as not to put them off or disappoint them or so that everyone can have a conspiracy theory, I mean transparency can be so dull can't it.

Many people, rightly or wrongly, think that Will has thrown his dummy out of the pram because of his spat with Len.

According to today's Sun it was all because of Goodman, time for him to step down too. They could fly Donny Osmond in as a stand in judge - 10s for every dance

This sparks another debate really about what competitors should be judged on...whether the dance has the correct elements (executed properly of course) or whether it's simply very entertaining. Have to say, I'm with Len on this...but then I am an Oldie! I've enjoyed ballroom dancing since a child but I'm hard pushed to recognise them on SCD sometimes... And they NEVER do the Veleta or the Military Two Step... 😄
