Will each cabinet member be wearing a little label saying Remain or Leave 😁 ?
I've always thought of TM as a bit of a style icon...she likes her clothes...they ain't cheap either!

What do we think of our new PM She looks to me a bit like the kindly aunt who will knit you a pair of socks and a scarf for Christmas But then look at the mousey Margaret Thatcher who entered Downing St and how she turned out Incidentally if you reverse MT you get TM

I think she will be good, and I think she will do exactly what she said 'Brexit means Brexit' no matter how much dust is kicked up by the snots fair brigade. It can't be all bad - I have just received a rather nice order from Denmark. So much for no confidence in British manufacture.

I think May is going to prove somewhat formidable and not a walkover. If she has a bit more room for manoeuvre, I think she will surprise us with how single minded she can be. I know its not a beauty contest, but I still think the girl's got style... All talk about her cabinet... I bet she will choose some women...and they've got some scary ones..Anna Soubrey, Amber Rudd... OMG! Some lady on the radio this morning said May sdhould be gracious and give something to Andrea Leadsom. Perhaps she can be Minister of Grandmothers ...she knows a lot about that.

Don't be cynical Marispiper (that is a joke Arena not personal abuse!)
I think the way things have panned out can only be good. The arguments and counter arguments and of course the press with their knifes out for the next 9 weeks was filling me with dread.
And the labour party by comparison deciding effectively in the courts who can stand and who can not is pretty bloody awful, whatever you might think of the respective candidates. Others apart from Angela Eagle will be certain to raise their heads above the ramparts, then we will see.

I said that it was the kiss of death when Farage and Bojo threw their (very large) hats in the ring in support of Leadsom

I feel sorry for Angela Eagle, her big day and announcement was completely overshadowed by events in Toryland

I can think of a lot of former PM's and politicians that seemed to have the personality of an empty room. I thought it was to do with what they had to say.

Those were the days when they were elected because of policies I suppose the ultimate transformation was Mrs T, her appearance and voice altered to make her the ultimate power woman - with tons of personality

Well, I always checked out TMs clothes...usually nice shoes too. Other female MPs mostly look dreadful...that's why she stands out. But hey...that was before she was PM...and being female, I noticed these things.
I don't think she needs, or will go in for, any Thatcher style counselling. I found all that creepy - especially the voice. I was not a fan - not then, not now.
One thing I did notice... Andrea Ledsom yesterday wearing a skirt that was FAR too short for a grandmother! No taste, see?

What does it say about Angela Eagle that even Wallasey don't want her! It looks like Corbyn will be voted leader again and then what? Are the rebels all going to resign? Or just say OK, we will get behind the bloke we've just said we have no confidence in? That's the difference with the Conservatives... Despite any differences, they are really good at sticking together aren't they?

As TM appoints her new Cabinet I hope that she has a clean sweep instead of just shuffling the same old faces around like musical chairs It is time for a completely fresh start, with new direction and ideas otherwise it becomes more of the same As for Labour, the long awaited and predicted split cannot be far off. Corbyn must be the most stubborn politician ever - oh hang on, he's pals with Livingston and Abbott. 'Nuff said
