Looks like PM q's on Wednesday will see just Corbyn and O'Donnell sitting there! Labour is in tatters but oddly Corbyn is determined to be the immovable object.
Tories need a new leader..no a new PM!!! Who d'you think?
BTW, Osborne (one of my least favourite politicians) was extremely statesmanlike this morning...exactly what we need. So that's where he's been...working his bloody socks off whereas Cameron just throws the towel in.

I have a feeling that Theresa May will be the next Tory leader, a sort of caretaker healer to gloss over their differences. Either that or someone unknown will emerge in the same way that David Cameron did. Don't think it will be Johnson (please no!), the political assassin never gets the throne Labour, goodness knows where this will pan out. Corbyn seems to determined to refuse to accept the inevitable. Maybe there will be a split in the same way that the Gang of Four left to form the Social democrats except this time it will more likely be the Gang of Two hundred plus

Yes I wouldn't mind betting on Teresa May...she was very quiet during the campaign, considering many of the 'issues' concerned her department ....maybe wisely so after all? She's definitely what you could call 'a safe pair of hands' which is exactly what's needed. Not Boris.
Logically, the Blairites could form an alliance with the Lib Dems...can't see that. Tom Watson, deputy, has been very quiet too. I wonder if he will hand Jeremy the sword?

Does anybody think that Farage should have ANY part to play in the Government? He is banging on that he is the person most qualified to advise/direct.

I find it more and more irritating that the media give this man so much oxygen. He is toxic and decisive and right now we need to unite.
I always thought that, rather than a political party, UKIP should've been a campaigning body whose aim was to secure an EU referendum.

He has received publicity way beyond his wildest dreams, especially when you consider he was never even part of the official leave campaign. Neither he nor any of his 'party' should ever decide anything, nor be part of a team advising. If you include him, why not George Galloway? It is just unthinkable. |
