I am an impulse shopper.Particularly addicted to innovative goods. Kitchenalia a speciality. We are in the same club Arena. How many times do you say 'why the hell did I buy that?' My daughter bought me a battery powered sauce stirrer for Christmas. A sort of thing on stilts that is meant to walk around the pan. Used once.

I am an impulse shopper.Particularly addicted to innovative goods. Kitchenalia a speciality. You should visit a TKMaxx. Obscure kitchen gadgets are their speciality. I have a very nice mill, specifically for grinding whole Indian spices, ( you have to toast them first). I have had it about 10 years and I am still getting round to buying, and toasting the whole spices. Trouble is, I have anotherr drum of Schwartz curry powder to use up first...

I once bought one of those magic coffee machines that grinds the beans then gently percolates the coffee and puts it into a glass jug to keep it warm. All well and good, but cleaning it out was about an hours work, and you still had to flush it the next time you used it. It went to a charity shop.
When I do make 'proper' coffee I either use a cafétiere or one of those two part hexagonal aluminium jobbies you put on the stove. I have a collection of them bought in countries I have visited that sit on the top of my kitchen cupboards, from one cup size to party size. I sometimes use the French one, or the Italian one or the Spanish one etc. Unfortunately an ex lady friend fed a couple of them through the dishwasher, and aluminium and dishwasher tablets are not god friends so they are discoloured.....

😁😁😁 I imagine you as having a kind of harem, comprising current and ex lady friends. We bought a Lavazza a modo mio machine...compact, and simplicity itself to operate plus the coffee is wonderful. Its been a very good buy.

I am also a fan of kitchen gadgets. You name it~ I've most likely got it.
I have several types of coffee machine. At the moment,I use the Nespresso machine and those little capsules. So many choices ,so little time.
I recently took two breadmakers and two electric kettles to the charity shop.My cupboards are full of equipment I have only used once or twice.

Just sent off for an electric pressure cooker. Anyone got one? No, I did not even know they existed. Like 90% of household I had a Prestige? Aluminium jobbie that went on the stove - the kind where the lid was locked in place with a 1/4 turn. I replaced that a few years ago with a larger SS one, made I think in Australia. Like a lot of other things, used so rarely that if it went missing I doubt I would notice for a year!

Just sent off for an electric pressure cooker. Anyone got one? No, you haven't got room for that. Your worktop space is already full with the fat-free fryer and halogen oven.😊
