Isn't it strange how we all say the same. No matter what number of years you have under your belt we all feel so young in our minds. Is there a scientific explanation I wonder?

In such cases,Seadog, it is easiest to register again, using a different name. Seadog1 for example.

( )Morning Arena. I seem to have solved the problem, seems my little black furry problem has been using the computer again!! I assume that is a cat. I missed a call from my vet a few years ago and since I had a dog that was poorly and having treatment rang them back a bit concerned. Apologies, it was the office cat who had pressed the 'last number redial' button!

We keep having problems with the TV.Our cat sits on the controls and alters things. We at Goldie Cottage are not techno savvy.

My cat used to kip on top of the TV (in the days before the thin sets we have now) and as she dozed off so her tail would droop down across the screen. A short, sharp "Ming!" from me and she would hoist it out of the way again - for the time being... As time passed, she began to prefer my lap, as being warm and soft I suppose. So I thought I would get a set with remote control, s I was having to shoo her off each time I got up to change channels. The first time I used the remote (it WAS for her benefit after all that I had incurred the expense) she shot in the air, gave me a filthy look and went up stairs muttering strange oaths...). It must have used an ultrasonic signal, that remote, and it probably went through her skull like a drill! Later she became accustomed to it, and peace reigned.

I remember when my dear old dog - the avatar was still around I would sometimes have other dogs to stay.
One night I heard sounds at about 3 am. I went downstairs to see both dogs neatly parked either end of my settee watching something quite inappropriate on the TV which they had managed to turn of for themselves.
The TV must have distracted them because mine was never allowed on my settee, he had his own. I always knew he had been on mine though because I would hear it creak when I came down in the morning and there was a tell tale warm patch.

Haha great story JJ ,
Max never ever helped himself to the sofa or armchair, he'd only get on if encouraged and then a flash of guilt would cross his face. He never sat next to me on the sofa either he'd much rather sit on me! I miss Labrador breath and my leg being thumped by a wagging tail.

I may have mentioned I had my foster dog staying with me for three months and he went home last Friday. His owner is still on crutches but a very determined (i.e. stubborn) lady. He is apparently giving her the cold shoulder partly because he doesn't like being in the proximity of the crutches. I miss the walks, even the wet ones and having to step over him when I walked across the lounge, and of course the company. All four grandchildren brushed him a couple of days before he went. He got fed up in the end and went to sit under the kitchen diner table but there was half a dog in the waste bin.
