Morning all: Spring equinox and not far off putting the clocks forward now. Frosty this morning but they say it will be dry and sunny later.

Have you seen the critical care nurses video on social media and GMB . She is working all hours and when she gets to the shop there is nothing left including fruit and veg (can you stockpile fruit and veg?) I hope the greedy selfish stockpilers never need her care!

Yes she worked a shift of 48 hours. Been there, done that. Life is about to change for us all. I guess supermarkets and stores will still be open. Just the cafes and restaurants that will be in darkness.
Life will go on and we won't starve, just means life changes maybe forever.
I'm suppose to pick up my new car next week but can't see that happening right now. Might have to go out of retirement If needed anyway. Would you believe, I just had an email telling us what our seat numbers are on the plane. It's not been cancelled as yet but
I'm sure it will be soon with no flights and no hotels open.

Ron, you must be careful. It's all very well doing the "right" thing by going back but suppose you come into contact with someone who has the virus. You have a poorly wife to look after With regard to this hysterical nurse, I have been thinking since seeing this video. Does she not have parents or partner to get the shopping whilst she is working. Where we are plenty of community shoppers have sprung up to get shopping etc for those who cannot, are there no such bodies where she lives?

Morning all: We are in a strange world from today. Still home is where the heart is. Agree with you Jimmy, my wife needs me more so will have to rethink.

Morning all: Trapped inside our homes and only the tv and on here to communicate. I guess the girls will probably be phoning rather than visiting today.

Morning all: Very frosty this morning. Things are getting worse aren't they. Looks like we will be in trouble soon for going out for food.

As I understand ir you can go out as long as it is for food or medication The 1.5 million with underlying health problems will be told from today if they are to stay in for 12 weeks. I have the feeling that could include me

Morning all: WE are all prisoners aren't we. Still it's for the good. Going to do some painting later. I believe everyone who owns a mobile phone in the UK has now been notified of the lockdown.
