Anything to do with food......
Should you wash raw chicken?
You shouldn’t wash raw chicken or any other raw poultry or meat. There is a considerable risk of spreading bacteria around food preparation areas and onto you. Cooking thoroughly will ensure any bacteria present will be killed. (BBC Goodfood)

I have noticed that any threads concerning food do well in this forum. We are a forum of food lovers.

Is this thread for food tips, I wonder? Here's one, when making tomato based pasta sauce, add a tiny bit of milk when seasoning. Definitely enhances the flavour.

I have eaten clam chowder, standing at a food stall in San Francisco....mmmm. Nice memory - and very filling, as I recall!

My most used food tip is - a pinch of salt in a sweet dish, a pinch of sugar in a savoury one.

Have you ever tried it the other way about?

Baxters soup is dead good. I used to get it for dinner when I was working near(ish) a Sainsburys. I think Spicy Parsnip was my favourite.
