There's a bit in the live version of the suite of songs from You Are What You Is on one of Frank Zappa's You Can't do that On Stage Any More sets, where there's a break in the music and he's supposed to say Hi Girls, in a really jock-creepy voice: but instead he just goes Arf!, which is meaningless and hilarious. Also, Punky's Whips is really funny: the mixture of virtuosic playing and Terry Bozzio singing (while drumming), Yank it Punky - yank it all night long! And then the whole of the live (again from the YCDTOSAM set) version of Don't Eat the Yellow Snow, recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, with live improvised poetry from the audience, some of Under Milk Wood from Frank, and an amazing through-written 7 minute workout at the end - again, puerile lyrics (I have seen him rubbing it, etc) with amazing playing.
Terry and Punky (warning - language, and Terry playing in his underpants):
(You don't know what you've started Maris.)

I asked for that, didn't I Aubrey? 😁 Jazzy which I liked, but I guess you had to be there... Maybe. I do really like that song though. How about this (a kind of re-write of When You Are a King by White Plains)? Or this: Both very wordy songs, the second complaining about someone else going on too much (I could do without the laughing on that though). When I first heard Momus I thought he was like a cross between Jake, the Divine Comedy and The Pet Shop Boys. He liked Jake as well, and did a good essay about him on his website when he died.
