There's still the Liberals. I would vote for them if Nick Clegg was still their Leader, I like him as a person and his policies

Madness!
Waitrose , for Easter , have a range of chocolate ducks. Fluffy Duck....Crispy Duck...and Ugly Duck.
Some ********* ******** are complaining , because Ugly Duck is the dark chocolate one.
It's getting silly!

So called customer service I've had days of problems with it Firstly was tempted by the Youngs Seafood ad for their large cod fillets in batter, chip shop quality. Cooked as per instructions, absolutely horrible. Email to them produced an apology and a voucher Morrisons had no chunky steak pies, "None have come in". Email to HQ resulted in "We will reply in five days", which they did. Referred to management team to investigate Bulb energy supplier. I switched to them when they were cheaper than previous supplier but they have become expensive. Last year, coming out of hospital I guessed that I would need the heating going non stop so I piled money into the account. Last week I emailed for an updated account, no reply. Emailed asking why not, no reply. So yesterday I called them to be told by a jobsworth that updated accounts could only be supplied at the end of the month. He would not budge so I emailed under the heading "Terrible Customer Service". That resulted in instant action from the management with the usual apologies, trying to recruit extra staff etc. Included was my up to date statement showing I am £350 in credit. Aware that some of these new smaller companies are going under and nervous about my money disappearing I have today started to switch I've gone for Shell (didn't know they did electric and gas), and am half expecting a petrol tanker to turn up !!

I've just read this post Jimmy and the funny thing is that I had one of those chunky battered Youngs fish for my dinner today. I didn't enjoy it one bit so will throw the other three away. I usually buy either cod or haddock from M&S but saw this in the freezer at Tesco and thought I'd give it a go. Sorry I did now. It certainly didn't taste like cod or haddock.

A friend suggested we try the cod in breadcrumbs which he reckoned was so much better So with the £6 voucher that Youngs sent have 4 cod in breadcrumbs and 2 gourmet fish cakes in the freezer. Will report later

You really can't beat M&S fish, their cod, haddock and plaice are superb. Yes they are expensive but worth it.

Just seen an advert on tv for the new and improved fairy liquid which got me thinking. You see a lot of items new and improved. Does that mean we've been buying sub standard things for years then.

It's getting silly! I bought a Lindt chocolate bunny for a friend --------but unwrapped it and ate it myself! It wouldn't have suited my friend anyway so shall instead buy a carton of Waitrose Medjool dates which are so yummy.

This has annoyed me for years, when brands I have been buying for years suddenly become "improved". It makes me feel as though I have been taken for a fool for buying the old brand.

I've noticed that we have a "Limited edition" Fairy liquid. I don't get the point of that, at all (except as a marketing device).

Been beautiful over Easter weekend, I washed and waxed the car on Sunday. Only to find it covered in sand that they say on tv has come from the Sahara. Not worth washing again as rain is forecast for the rest of the week.
