I've heard it said that the definition of a music nurd is someone who can name five drummers: well I can name five drummers who have played for Frank Zappa (usually) and five drummers who have played for The Fall (again, usually). A real nurd, me

I used to play drums, so...
FZ Jimmy Carl Black Terry "Ted" Bozzio Ainsley Dunbar Chad Wakerman Vinnie Colaiuta
Fall Karl Burns Paul Hanley Simon Wolestoncroft Mike Leigh [Something] Orpheo
I should be able to do Bowie as well, but I can't - one of them's the same as one of Frank's though.
How about films based on books and stories of Stephen King - that's not too hard is it? There are dozens of them.

More will come to you, I'm sure. He once met a woman who wouldn't believe that he'd written I think it was The Shawshank Redemption.

Sissy Spacek *sigh* ok: Children of the Corn Children of the Corn II Children of the Corn III Children of the Corn IV (at least) There's supposed to be a re-boot coming out this year as well. It's a good story - an early one, 10-15000 words. I have only seen the first film. It is woeful.

Do I get to choose the next category for five? I will chance my arm on...
Five landlocked countries. (Do you notice that only older people know any world geography?)

You see, I have no idea of that one.
Luxembourg, Switzerland, a load in Africa...
The Stephen King thing is from Neil Gaiman:
Someone else do the countries, please.
A lot of beef comes from Argentina - that's all I remember from Geography.

When I did geography at school, most of the world was coloured red on the atlas. It was all the British Empire
