The interview I saw when she talked about Ericson seemed to make things pretty clear. Had she been lying then I doubt her children were, and she would I think have been sued. Perhaps you missed this one

Alan George Heywood Melly (17 August 1926 – 5 July 2007) was an English jazz and blues singer, critic, writer and lecturer. From 1965 to 1973 he was a film and television critic for The Observer and lectured on art history, with an emphasis on surrealism. Judith Cynthia Aline Keppel (born 18 August 1942) was the first one million-pound winner on the television game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in the United Kingdom. Keppel's father was a Lieutenant Commander in the Fleet Air Arm, who moved with the family to various naval postings around Britain until they settled in London when she was 17.  Everybody's favourite egghead. |

George Melly - Raffles, Willie Rushton - I'd even watch that Through the Keyhole programme because of Willie Rushton - he made anything he was worth watching.
And Raffles was great.
