The interview I saw when she talked about Ericson seemed to make things pretty clear. Had she been lying then I doubt her children were, and she would I think have been sued. Perhaps you missed this one

Alan George Heywood Melly (17 August 1926 – 5 July 2007) was an English jazz and blues singer, critic, writer and lecturer. From 1965 to 1973 he was a film and television critic for The Observer and lectured on art history, with an emphasis on surrealism. He was born in Liverpool and was educated at Stowe school, where he discovered his interest in modern art, jazz and blues.

Judith Cynthia Aline Keppel (born 18 August 1942) was the first one million-pound winner on the television game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in the United Kingdom. Keppel's father was a Lieutenant Commander in the Fleet Air Arm, who moved with the family to various naval postings around Britain until they settled in London when she was 17. Everybody's favourite egghead.

George Melly - Raffles, Willie Rushton - I'd even watch that Through the Keyhole programme because of Willie Rushton - he made anything he was worth watching.
And Raffles was great.
