Have you read her biography,Lana? No I haven't,Arena, but I listened to a radio play about her and it piqued my interest so I looked online to find out more about her. |

Her father escaped from a mental institution, murdered HIS father and then committed suicide. MR had a long history of severe depression and spent quite a lot of time in and out of mental hospital.

Sue Lloyd (7 August 1939 – 20 October 2011) was an English model turned actress with numerous film and television credits. The daughter of a GP, Susan Margery Jeaffreson Lloyd was born in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. She attended Edgbaston High School in Birmingham and studied dance as a child, attending Sadler's Wells Ballet School.  |

Kendall lived in Cowes on the Isle of Wight with his partner Mark Fear, where he was the owner of a marine art gallery, and a keen beekeeper. Before owning the art gallery, he co-ran a restaurant: this was stated in an interview in Radio Times in 1996. Kendall died on 14 December 2012, following a stroke a few weeks previously.[1] He was survived by Mark Fear, his partner for the last 23 years of his life. Simon Weston OBE (born 8 August 1961) is a Welsh veteran of the British Army who became well known throughout the United Kingdom for his recovery and charity work after suffering severe burn injuries during the Falklands War. Weston was born in Caerphilly District Miners Hospital. He was brought up by his mother, Pauline and adoptive father.  |

I will never forget the documentary about how the army treated Simon, got rid of him as quickly as possible after basic medical treatment. This was compared with a boy with a deformed face, found abandoned because of his appearance in the jungle in S America, and taken to USA by a plastic surgeon who rebuilt his face to give hi a normal appearance |

Yana was a 50's singer, apparently the mistress of George Formby "With me little ukulele in me hand"
Listened yesterday evening Radio 2, 5-7pm Len Goodman was on...good show for anyone on here I'd say. He played this George Formby song...OH was most impressed with my Yana connection facts. Thanks forum friends x |
