I adore audio books, I cook, decorate or drive long car journeys to them. I decorated my daughters bedroom a few years ago listening to Lewis Grassic-Gibbons' Sunset Song trilogy and then moved my papering skills into the hall and listened to Anna Karenina. Earlier this year I drove to London by myself (blissful) and listened to a story of 12 CD's it got me from door to door and back. In fact I arrived home in Edinburgh before the end of the last CD and sat for 15 minutes listening to the end.  |
