I find a pic from google or similar, copy it to my pics folder where there is an edit function Think you can make pics bigger using this but haven't tried it

Post your images from a host ,such as PhotoBox. In Photobox you click on the image you want to post here and click on the bottom URL,the one that starts IMG. Copy it and paste it into the reply box here. The advantage of posting a link to a host,is that the size of the pictures doesn't clog up the storage on the boards. Other hosts include Imgur and Flickr. They are all free to join. I am assuming you mean how to make the pictures appear bigger in the forum. If you mean to increase the size of an image you have collected, well, that's a bit more complicated. But let me know if that's what you want to do.

If yes, that is what I have done and it's remains tiny. I have also resized them (bigger) before I put them on Photobucket. I am on a few different forums and have never had problems with the size of pictures before using that method.

Oops! Of course I do,lana.I do'nt know what's wrong with me lately. I'm always in such a rush, but that shouldn't be an excuse. Usually,a picture remains the same size it was when you posted it to PB. That happens to me here. My pictures are the same size they were on PB. Could you give me an example of the size of an image you have on PB and want to post on here. It has just occured to me,that maybe, your pictures are way too big for the boards. Could you let me know how many pixels wide and high, rather than the MB size?

Hi Althea I have had another think and have remembered that you have to delete this [/URL] before posting! Thanks! I saw this the other week in the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester and rather like it. Vanessa Bell 'Still Life on Corner of a Mantelpiece', 1914 (Hope this isn't too big!!)

David Inshaw (born 21 March 1943 in Wednesfield, Staffordshire, England) is a British artist who sprang to public attention in 1973 when his painting The Badminton Game was exhibited at the ICA Summer Studio exhibition in London. The painting was subsequently acquired by the Tate Gallery and is one of several paintings from the 1970s that won him critical acclaim and a wide audience. I particularly like this one by him The Raven.

That's good, I like paintings that clearly show what they represent

Thank you so much for your encouraging comment. I do like people to comment, even if it's a negative comment. This is one of my favourites.
