And good for Hungary too!
It is about time European leaders (not EU)stood up for their indigenous populations:
a.) Hungary is a Christian nation and does not want a large influx of Moslems with the inevitable splits in society that involves
b.) Any person entering Hungary illegally will be committing a crime and will be subject to possible imprisonment and deportation
c.) Any person damaging Hungarian property (the fence) will be committing a crime and will be liable to imprisonment
d.) Any person attempting to enter Hungary as a refugee from a safe country (Serbia) will be told to apply for asylum in the last safe country they were in
In fact in doing b), c) and d.) Hungary is doing what all democracies do (otherwise, what is all the 'passports control' about as you move between democracies
What hypocrisy of Germany and Austrian (and the UN) to criticise Hungary for simply protecting its borders as all democracies so do
Still I suppose in some circles it is (abhorrently) 'right wing' to have pasport controls

Why do you keep popping up as a guest on here, when you don't even allow guests in your board!!!

Why do you keep popping up as a guest on here, when you don't even allow guests in your board!!! What board is that then - just asking so I can avoid it! Now about Hungary. The refugees have no interest in staying in Hungary - and who can blame them for that. I wouldn't want to stay where I'm not wanted either! All Hungary was asked to do was register them and transport them on. It isn't rocket science. They call themselves a Christian country - what they are doing isn't my understanding of Christian behaviour. I truly believe that the vast majority of the people of Europe are kind, generous people. This has been shown by the generosity of people all over Europe who have gone out of their way to help with food, clothing and shelter - and that includes the thousands in the UK who have offered accommodation to Syrian refugees families. There has to be an EU day of reckoning over this situation, dragging their heels shows the mean spirit of governments not the people.

Now about Hungary. The refugees have no interest in staying in Hungary - and who can blame them for that. No they are economic migrants seeking the most comfoetable country(except for the Syrians) Ah, but do they want to be regisrerd? ( you see they must claim asylum in the first safe country they enter) Whatever your understanding of Christian behaviour may be Syrian refugees are another matter altogether - only 2 out of 10 migrants are Syrian refugees according to German sources Indeed - this is simply the start of a mass exodus - what happens when the thousands become milions?
