A cup of tea with a well earned rest and a good friend works best for me - especially if said friend makes the tea.
But the best cup is probably the second post-op cup made by a friendly nurse.

I'm partial to a hunk of Sainsbury's Carrot Cake... and a couple of fruit cookies with my afternoon mug of Assam, with NO MILK THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
