Porridge has been voted the best TV comedy sit-com ever.
What's yours?

Hmm, both excellent, but for my best ever I'd also have to consider Fawlty Towers, Yes M/PM, Blackadder, Black Books... Spoilt for choice, really

... Ever Decreasing Circles, Me Mammy, Colin's Sandwich (Mel Smith), Till Death..., Father Ted, Married with Children, Third Rock from the Sun.
It turns into a list of favourites, doesn't it?

It does indeed, Scorp. Aren't we lucky there are so many? And aren't we lucky there are DVDs - is any of the ones we've all listed still on? I'm not familiar with all the ones you mention, but those I do know must all be at least twenty years old. Does that say something about the state of today's comedy? Or something about the state of us old grumps?
