Hi everyone.
Its been a while since I called in due to hospital stays through broken bones which have got worse but I was 93 last week and decided to visit all who I have met in cyberland over the years.
I hope you have all kept well and I hope you don't mind me calling in.
How is life treating everyone?
Personally I have kept myself busy with answering many folk worldwide who want to know true tales from WW2 before it is too late.
Plus clearing out old files on my computer and reading old documents belonging to my hubby's father regarding the old bus he used to own with a piano at the back of the driver.
It has been a fascinating look back over the 1900s.

I am quite surprised that no one has said Hello and it would perhaps be better if I don't have any more notifications sent to me of new topics.

Maywalk, I apologise for not noticing your post. I find the days are racing by lately and I do not spend as much time as I would like in here.
I am sorry to hear about the broken bones and hope you are recovering well.
I am fairly well, except for my bones.
I think you have done sterling work, spreading your stories of wartime Britain. I am sure many have enjoyed your writing, I know I have.
Please take care of yourself and please come back for another visit.

What you’ve been up to sounds fascinating. You must have such a wealth of information and it is brilliant you are imparting your knowledge to others before it is all lost. A belated happy birthday. |

I wonder if anyone would like doing anagrams. I heard that Wordle was good, but I'm afraid I was bored with it. So what suits one won't necessarily

I'm sure wordle is fun to do, but reading scores on Facebook is as much fun as watching paint dry.
Yes I just go into the good morning thread and don't even post there if I have nothing much to say. Some people on another board post the same post in two threads. If I've got a busy day I post different bits of it around the boards.
It would be nice to see more of you though.

What a sad little thread. I hope Maywalk is doing well despite the lack of response. I am blameless as I wasn't here then - and I only looked at this thread in the hope of finding some Knock Knock jokes. 'Anagrams' sounds good although I can't think of an anagram for it.
