Thanks for that. It's hard to find a film lately, that doesn't have violence and injury detail. I can stand a bit of bad language, if it's necessary, but upsetting scenes etc. are not my thing. I watch very little TV at the moment. I am painting when my hand will grip the brush.

I watched that a while ago. It was a lovely, sad story of unrequited love. It was based on a true story. I was surprised to see hoe old Ralph Fiennes is now, I thought he was excellent.

Last night I watched 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' A duff title for a brilliant film.
What's Eating Gilbert Grape is a 1993 American drama film directed by Lasse Hallström and starring Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Juliette Lewis and Darlene Cates. It follows 24-year-old Gilbert (Depp), a grocery store clerk caring for his morbidly obese mother (Cates) and his mentally impaired younger brother (DiCaprio) in a sleepy Iowa town.
DiCaprio received multiple awards for his part.
See it.

I happened to see it years ago. It was the only time I thought Leonardo diCaprio was a really good actor. It was a sad little film, but DiCaprio did deserve the awards. I have this on a DVD somewhere, but I'd need 3 weeks notice to find it.
