I want a knitting machine in mine. By, that takes me back, clioseward. I used to do machine knitting years ago. I had a Brother910 (computerised) and a second hand Knitmaster. Several of us in the village, used to meet in the scout hut to share tips and patterns. We used to get a minibus and visit the woollen mills that were still open in Yorkshire. I used to come back with sacks of yarn and my friend would keep them in her car boot until my husband went out and then she'd bring them round and I would stuff them in cupboards and wardrobes. If you opened a cupboard door in my house, it was quite usual for cones of wool to fall on your head. I had to give it up eventually as my shoulder joint has arthritis. That was a sad day when I gave my machines away. |

Perfume and cosmetics and a gold bracelet. Santa was kind this year.
My sister sent me six bottles of home made wine yesterday. Assorted fruit wines and they will be delicious.
