Now the weather has changed will we see a drop in cases? Not so many idiots will be crowding the beaches and cramming at p--s ups.

Most of the cases are coming from people crowding into indoor spaces, like friends houses and back rooms at pubs and not those on beaches. There was no epidemic in Bournemouth after those crowded scenes, neither was there an epidemic after BLM protests. Outside is not the problem.
The other cases seem to be coming from food processing plants. Refrigerated premises, where staff have to pad up to work and the swelter in the small staff/toilet/canteen areas, no floor supervisors etc. Conversely those nipping out for a quick smoke at break times appear to be avoiding it - because they are not crowding into the canteen. Yet more cases at food processing plants in Scotland today.

I see a man in Wiltshire has just been fined £10K for organising a house party with around 100 people there. Good.

There was a charity football tournament up here and about 300 people attended. 28 positive so far and TV/Radio asking people to come forward or isolate. At £71 pw for 2 weeks how many are seriously going to do that.

That being the case I would have thought it was the height of insanity to run a charity football match. I assume the charity made some money from gate money, and perhaps the sale of raffle tickets, and the bar. Thirsty people tend to ignore the rules!

Caerphilly is in lockdown now, due to selfish people not following the social distancing rules. There are no new cases in Flintshire or Wrexham today, which is good news.

If you have to isolate for 14 days you only get £71pw Statutory Sick Pay. People who feel well may not be prepared to do this without being directly contacted by Public Health. By the way, the pub is not being fined, the licensee is not being sanctioned - 'everyone is just learning how to run events properly in the future'. The pub said "if we knew now, what we should have known then etc...". What didn't they know? Is there no TV or media in Fence Houses. Laughable, we are on the point of a local lockdown and that's the best sanction they can come up with.

Not that it matters much currently because there are no tests available within the area unless you are admitted to hospital. We have run out of testing capacity, so once again we will have no idea what the actual figures are!! It has taken the govt 8 months to consistently mess this thing up and they are not getting better at it. Schools were supposed to have home testing kits to send home with sick children. There are none. Nobody can get hold of them. It is pure bollocks!!!

You spelled "World Beating" wrong.
But come on - you only have to travel 400 miles to get a test. Anyone who doesn't do that obviously doesn't care.

Teachers are starting to go down with covid now. That's no surprise. Home testing kits are a waste of of time and money, because no one could be thorough enough on themselves to do it properly. You have to go right down the throat and RIGHT UP each nostril. You gag and vomit from the throat one ,then cry and scream at the nose one. You just couldn't hurt yourself like that.
