I used to make lots of pies and tarts.For some reason I am good at pastry,not so good at sponge cakes and really good at heavy fruit cakes. Now I can't eat pastry(there's no justice),so I don't make pies any more. I used to make a sausage plait,where I mixed the sausage meat with some sage and onion stuffing. That was always very popular. Snap! I made it on Sunday evening.It went down a treat. Obviously a man of taste.  |

Saw a r4ecipe the other night for fish pie with hard boiled eggs in white sauce , topped with mash.......drool.
