While I have had a few days in bed,I have been grateful for Talking Pictures.
Watching some old films helped pass the time. I watched Hobson's Choice for the umteenth time.
Each time I watch it I enjoy it as much as the first time. John Mills' expressions and body language are just magic.

That old bloke having a swim at the start of each ad break is a bit much though - it's such a jolt to go from 50s B&W fog and rain to pink (very pink) and sunshine. And he looks terribly self-satisfied as well.
