Baby poo contains probiotics that could boost gut health and combat a variety of diseases, scientists have said.
A probiotic "cocktail" made from gut bacteria strains found in baby faeces, which could improve overall health and help weight loss, was developed at Wake Forest School of Medicine in North Carolina.
"Babies are usually pretty healthy and clearly do not suffer from age-related diseases, such as diabetes and cancer.
"And, of course, their poop is readily available," said the study's lead author Dr Hariom Yadav.
The healthy probiotic cocktail was created using the dirty nappies of 34 infants.

It's no more than what you'd breathe in around babies anyway. Probably.

Makes me wonder what they put into these probiotic health drinks There's a coffee marketed isn't there, made from beans that have passed trough some animal I know that children used to be encouraged to eat soil to help build up immunity, and according to rumour Ghandi used to drink his own pee bt for me it's all a bit much. Went right off Bear Grylls when he had celebs drinking their own pee in some survival test
