I recently watched the film,Three Billboards in Ebbing,Missouri. I really enjoyed it, though the subject matter is sad and there is much sadness in the film. Somehow it rose above the misery by the force of the acting .Frances McDormand deserved her Oscar, although I think that whoever played that part would have won an Oscar. I don't want to sound mean, but it's the kind of part any mature actress would give her eye teeth for. I have never been keen on Woody Harrelson, but in this film I thought he was well cast and I think his performance was spot on. I think this film is of the best of the new crop of films.
