Morning all: Nothing much doing today, got meals to prepare and the whites to wash and dry. That's about it for the day.

Today is not as hot as it was at the weekend. The sun was too hot to sit in the garden yesterday. As I type, I am having my new wardrobe doors fitted. I hope it's going well, as I am keeping out of the way. He seems like an excellent joiner.

Morning all: Another very mild night and a dry start to the day, but it's not going to last. We have Amazon Prime and wouldn't do without it now.

It's cool today and a bit cloudy, but should remain dry, so I'll have to water my pots in the garden later. I have been reading that giant Chinese crabs have invaded the coast of North Wales. I'm not sure if they're edible. It's good news if they are and bad news if they're not.

Went for my blood test this morning. Had to go in twice because first one squirted blood. She asked If I was on blood thinners and I said yes so was more careful the second time.
Called into a few shops on the way home, Sainsbury's have 25% off all clothing this week so picked up some bargains, my wife had a new dress and shoes. I will be going back this week to buy some things for myself.

Morning all: We've had a deluge of rain over night and I don't think it's going to stop all day today. The BBC reckons you are in for torrential rain , so get your slippers on and find something good on the telly.

Yes, I went into town for my morning Latte and a natter, but there's floods everywhere. I tried my best not to drive too close to the pavement and drench people but there's times when I couldn't help it with oncoming traffic.

We have heavy rain here, but so far, that all seems pretty normal for a rainy day. It is heavy rain but not torrential. Perhaps it's more the time it is going on for that is the problem.

Like Ron, I have had torrential rain all last night and all today. I went for my covid jab yesterday and was straight in and out, very unusual. I was absolutely fine as I have had Spikevax before. Just had a sore arm in the night and it's still tender to the touch. My friend took me shopping and I have stocked up, so I can last quite a while without another "big shop". I have been doing some research into Dysphagia and I came across a gadget called an IQoro. They reckon you can exercise your throat muscles with it. I will have to ask my doctor if it's genuine. It seems unlikely to be to me. They cost £145 - for the small plastic gismo that you can train your muscles with. If it does work, it will be worth it.
