I'm watching Jesse Stone again on moviscope, (from the playstore )for me they could give the dogs an oscar for me. The first episode is 2006 not 2005.

Morning all: Very mild start to the day and it looks like another fine day to hang washing out. Got our M&S shop to do today then lock away until Tuesday as it's a bank holiday on Monday.
MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU

I'm feeling better, almost normal today only ruined by the host of backlog tasks waiting for my attention. Hope it's going to be more like snow sheeting off the roof once it's started.
Dogs are brilliant scene stealers but the one that really deserved an Oscar was the Border Collie in 'Down and out in Beverly Hills', which clocked what was really going on, and showed his opinion at every opportunity.

I have finished watching Shardlake and I thought it was good. Some changes but nothing fundamental. What channel is it on,Hild? In view of Chris Sansom's recent death, I should like to give it a go.

It is cold and dark here today. My friend Pat and her lovely mini ,long haired Dachshund called Cilla have just left. We had a good chat and Cilla was as good as gold. She is so glamorous and she loves me, bless her. It's reciprocated.

Morning all: Not budging today, lots of sport on tv so won't be too bored. I've made a trifle for today and tomorrow's dessert.

It's on Disney+ and might be available on different set ups. You can get it on a months trial and if you do, you could watch Shogun which is also excellent.

Years ago my sister and I read Shogun at the same time and we used to say " good morning sister san," to each other all the time. We picked up a few Japanese words and would sprinkle them in to our conversations. We were very close and sadly she died 28 years ago. I still have one sister, but there is a large age gap between us, so we haven't been so close. I do find as we both age, the gap seems to be getting smaller. It's a beautiful morning here and I have washing out and I've done a little gardening too ( I shall pay for that later, my back is already protesting.)

Yes a beautiful day today, my washing dried quickly on the line. All, ironed and put away now. Just seen the forecast for the week ahead and from about Wednesday onwards it's going to be a lot warmer and dry, Look forward to that, we've waited long enough for it.

Yes, I am no gardener but I attacked a few things out there, the sun being out. today. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of plants coming into flower. I have bought three fuchsias as they don't get munched by slugs and snails...unlike (never again) dahlias.
Like our Ron, I also did washing and hung it out to dry. I always then fold carefully to obviate ironing 😉 I mean, what's the point?

Morning all: Looks like another fine day for us, not everywhere though. Just got to pop to Tesco for a few things then lock ourselves away again until tomorrow.

Are doctors really so much different nowadays? Are they more empathetic, more caring, more altruistic, more dedicated and more self-sacrificing? Not likely, methinks. The GMC's stranglehold on the NHS means that they are almost wholly responsible for the parlous state of medical care in this country and they continue greedily on their way, burying their mistakes with impunity.
