My idea of a great night is laying on the sofa watching Talking pictures. Did anyone see Craig Douglas on the other night? He's 81 now and not in the best of health, he said it was the first time out of the house in ten years. Interesting to listen to his life.

They were the only two babies born at Newport IOW hospital that week .

My dad was entertainments manager of a club in town and had to introduce and pay the artists appearing there. At the end of the night he would bring the artists home for a light supper. We only lived across the road from the club. As kids, myself and my sister used to sit at the top of our stairs to see who came in after the show. Craig Douglas was one, Bert Weedon, Ken Dodd and Freddy parrot face Davies, and many more I can't remember now.

I don't know about anyone else but it's so cold we've just had the fire on for about 30 minutes just to take the chill off.

Morning all: Another boring Sunday locked inside for the day. Still very cold and damp with no signs of summer returning.

I have had the heating on for an hour morning and evening for days. Cold doesn't suit me at all. I used to have a big crush on Craig Douglas back in the day. Funny to think he's an old man now. My form of exercise is dancing in my kitchen. It's something I enjoy. Especially when my grandchildren come.

Hi ya... Been feelin' moribund especially since. 1) an altication with nasty neighbour and I'd better start "Stirring a bit harder" to exband details re his threat that I'm trying to forget), to the fuzz. 2) My much nicer Lady Neighbour has moved away (She ir a child-minder and needed a biger house). 3) one of my pensions is stopped paying me: Got an appoint with Citizens Advice - but not until end-of-week. SO...... I'm off to sulk.
