I like Tom Hanks. Once, when we were in the International House of Pancakes in San Francisco,I heard a man talking in the next booth. He sounded exactly like Tom Hanks and I started to get excited, thinking it was TH. I managed to peer round a corner and peek into the booth, but it wasn't TH.The voice was so like Tom's ,it was uncanny.

My free time is so limited,Aubs. I shouldn't,but I do feel guilty when I read or watch films. OH needs quite a lot of attention these days.

Watched the dvd last night of the new Murder On The Orient Express with Kenneth Branagh and other "A" listers. Very good but strange to see his Poirot leap into physical action, he always just used "the little grey cells"

I watched Fargo last night. It wasn't as funny as I expected it to be,being made by the Coen brothers. It was a good film though and I did enjoy it.
This afternoon I watched Finding Your Feet. I have been looking forward to seeing it and it didn't disappoint. A bit predictable,a bit romantic,a bit sad,in fact it was rather like life. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don't get The Cohen brothers at all - Fargo was ok, but... I suppose I'll have to give it another go. People whose opinions I respect have told me they're really good, so I must be missing something.
I see what Kermode meant about the poster for Finding Your Feet, though:
