I heard this snippet on a trailer for a radio programme...

I think he is excellent and saw him perform a few years ago when he was not known... certainly not on the telly. I'm glad he's a household name now.

I've seen him supporting The Fall a couple of times.
One time he started on a poem, and then stopped to ask if he hadn't already done it.

He used to be on the GCSE syllabus and we took some of the kids to see him perform (along with a number of others - Simon Armitage, Carol Anne Duffy, John Agard...) all great.
